Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the ARISE service operated by ARISE AI Establishment ("ARISE", "إفاقة"). It applies to every user and to any automated agent, automation, or integration run through your account. By using the service you agree to this AUP, which forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Your responsibility

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, including the actions and outputs of agents and automations you configure. You must review agent outputs before relying on or distributing them.

You must ensure that everyone using your account complies with this AUP and with all applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and any other jurisdiction relevant to your use.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the service to create, store, transmit, or generate content or conduct that:

  • Violates any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of others.
  • Infringes intellectual-property rights or misappropriates trade secrets.
  • Is unlawfully threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
  • Exploits, endangers, or sexualises minors in any way.
  • Generates or spreads knowingly false information intended to deceive or cause harm.
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation.
  • Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or unlawful weapons.

3. Privacy and personal data

You must not use the service to collect, process, or disclose personal data unlawfully, including building unauthorised profiles or scraping personal data at scale without a lawful basis. You are responsible for having the rights and consents required under the PDPL and other applicable law for any personal data you process through the service.

4. Security and integrity

You must not use the service to:

  • Circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other security measures.
  • Gain unauthorised access to any system, account, network, or data.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or other harmful code.
  • Conduct unauthorised security testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning against third parties.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the service or its infrastructure.

5. Fair use and automation

The service is subject to rate limits and fair-use expectations. You must not place an undue burden on the service, exceed or attempt to bypass rate limits, or use automated means to consume resources in a way that harms availability for other customers.

When automations interact with third-party services, you must comply with those services’ terms and applicable law, and obtain any required authorisations.

6. No reverse engineering or resale

Except where expressly permitted in writing or required by law, you must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source or underlying components of the service, nor resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties outside the scope of your agreement.

7. Export and sanctions compliance

You must comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws and must not use the service in, or for the benefit of, any embargoed or restricted destination or party.

8. Reporting abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, contact abuse@arise.sa. We investigate reports and may request additional information.

9. Enforcement

We may remove content, throttle or suspend access, revoke credentials, or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice depending on the severity, and we may take legal action and cooperate with authorities where appropriate.

10. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
